The Priory School is a coeducational secondary school and sixth form with academy status, located in Orpington area of the London Borough of Bromley, England. In 2006 the school gained specialist sports college, focusing efforts on sports and the community. The Priory was the only school in the borough to have this status. the school converted to academy status in May 2012. The Priory was host to one of the first boxing fights in early 2008 with special guest Frank Bruno, since the sport was phased out in the 70s and 80s. The school also owns a small outward bounds centre in Blaenavon, South Wales, named Ramfield, which all students have a chance of visiting during their time at the school. ==Schools within Schools== It has been announced in 2010 that The Priory School would be made into five separate colleges, one with its own Head of College, College Learning Manager and College Support Manager. The college's names are names of surrounding areas in Kent. They are; *Penshurst, *Riverhead, *Ightham, *Otford, *Rochester & *Yalding (6th Form).
